Pasture Horses out to Pasture

Big news for today was that the Pasture horses were put out on pasture for a few hours. Pasture horses are kept in their own paddock and they have been “in” all winter, now they get to transition to a few hours on grass each day,  and they were very excited! Mara B found the hole in the slow feeder net as you can see. Then on our ride out, I actually got off her to ‘practice’ calmly walking back and forth through this point on the trail between trees, Mara was a bit ‘up’ about going through there today, not her usual mode. Practice, patience and “do it again” are how we operate. (Maybe the energy from the pasture horses had her wound up!)
