Left at the Gate

Mara B left me at the paddock gate and walked herself to the barn this morning, that was a first! I met her in the shelter, we enjoyed our greeting rituals and regular exit from her paddock and then she left me standing there as I was closing the gate and hooking the latch. We both are independent souls and know our routines well I guess, however she did surprise me. It was very cold but we had warm connections with arena time, grooming time and socializing time with Barn pals.
