Today’s ride took us past a few of the blue buckets being used for tapping maple trees around the stable. I really like observing seasonal activities like this.
Mara B and I then rode the first section of the Meyer’s field road and appreciated the new views. However the field road remains quite soft and mushy to comfortably ride.
It was a peaceful, quiet jaunt on a beautiful March afternoon with a gorgeous sky. The fields looked so neat and tidy.
We will appreciate a bit more drying to firm up the footing for our next ride through. Happy springtime.
