Midsummer Mist

With temperatures down, I decided Mara B could be ready to move and I was right. So we started in the round pen this afternoon for her to burn some energy. It’s still fun for me to watch her move.

I like to put Mara in different locations around the barn for grooming and tacking up, today we stood next to the goats! They are very cute and curious. Mist was falling off and on so we had extra special grooming time and embraced the indoor arena for trot time.

Always wanting to get in some outdoor time, we did stroll around when the mist was very light and checked out the nearby oat fields.

Returning to the barn we observed a bit of the system of shredding corn stalks that are then used for stall bedding.

I love the sustainability practices of River Brink stable.
