Mara B and I rode a familiar and pleasant path this afternoon, our temps are cooling and some leaves along the trail are starting to match the color of my mount.
We saw and heard active big machinery working on the ‘new road’ project.
So we ventured into the first cut soybean field we’ve seen so far this fall. I really appreciate getting off the roads and into fields when we’re able.
We also walked the length of the back road past the neighborhood stable and then retuned to our barn. The horses we passed are sporting blankets these days.
I was a bit chilly myself when I dismounted but I think Mara B finds these temperatures just right.
