Walking on Untouched Snow

Mara B and I hiked around the side field of completely untouched snow this afternoon and it was lovely. We had muted gray skies with brilliant white snow and near silence.

Here’s a deer trail we spotted that goes right over the fence line.

Returning to the barn we had an entertaining audience watching us. We liked observing the horses we walked past going in because many were very playful today.

Mara got a little exercise and I got my rosy cheeks for the day, it was a fine outing for us.
